K-rate transformer (for harmonic mitigation)
A lightweight and compact transformer designed considering the impact of harmonics on transformers!
The "K-rate transformer (for harmonic countermeasures)" is a transformer designed with consideration for abnormal heating caused by the generation of harmonics. It complies with UL-1561 21.1.4 (temperature rise). The design is lightweight and compact, taking into account the impact of harmonics from servers on the transformer, as well as the increased load losses in windings due to the skin effect, eddy current losses, and the increase in N-phase current. Additionally, it has been widely adopted in domestic Internet Data Centers (iDC) and is designed to prevent abnormal heating even when harmonics are present. [Considerations in the design] - Impact of harmonics on the transformer - Increased load losses in windings due to the skin effect - Increase in eddy current losses - Increase in N-phase current *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
